Anchor: Men’s Evening
Please be advised that Men’s Group will not be running
on Thursday December 28, 2017
*Please ensure you are not late*
Drop-in to visit and share coffee, snacks and receive men’s support for strategies on stress, healthy relationships and managing current challenges.
These groups continue to be no-cost thanks to the funding provided by the FCSS
Providing a space where men can give and receive information and support for current life challenges and self-improvement.
These sessions are intended to be a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space for any man who wants to improve his life with the support of other men.
These meetings are weekly, ongoing, drop-in and confidential.
The topics discussed and number of men in attendance varies week-to-week because of the drop-in format but there usually tends to be between 6 – 15 men in attendance and many of the common topics discussed are healthy relationships and coping with relationship breakdown, stress and anxiety, depression, addictions, self-confidence and self-identity.
Men who are interested in the group are encouraged to drop-in and check it out. Everyone is given the opportunity to speak during the group but no one is ever required to speak. Please arrive a couple minutes early to complete some brief paper work.
